Thing 21
The animoto thing wouldn't let me take pictures or video's from my computer, it had an error everytime. I tried to figure out why my computer wouldn't let it take it. It still would be cool for someone putting together a little video or picture segment for others.

Summarizing the 23 things
Well, I have learned a lot about computer and internet technology. Many of the items were difficult to understand and actually work through. Some were fun to make and some were nice to have. Certain blog sites would be good to have to help you learn and talk with others in your field. I know that most of you know that I love golf and am changing my career to something in golf. I thought I wanted to be a teacher, but that came second to my first love of golf. I will probably get to teach, but it will be teaching golf. I'm quite sure that some of the things I learned in this class will help me. You never know what schooling 0r jobs will bring you. Dr. Wall, it was quite the experience, thanks a lot and yes I did learn quite a few things.

Thing 23
There are other things out there that help you learn, this could be one that the 23 things came from. Like teach 42 things. You can go through this blog site and help yourself to learning more educational technology type of things.
Thing 22
I liked the Educational Podcast. It was easy to use and it had many History podcast's within it. I listened to the Colonization of Africa episode 102 and found the information to be enlightening. Actually the podcast in this site had many I could listen to at times I wanted to know more about history around the world.

Well I joined another technological wonder of the internet. (TeacherPop) Left a comment and tried to put my picture in it. Don't think it worked very well. Also, tried to make a Ning badge. Interesting little social network thing. Good little site for educators to visit and get information.

Thing 18
I joined Myspace today. http://home.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=home I guess this is my link. If not sorry don't know how to get it. I have been thinking about getting one for some time to network and talk with old friends from the past. It seemed easy enough to get the thing started. Put in a little data about myself, not sure anyone would care to be my friend or see my name on this site. I think either Myspace or facebook would benefit educators interested in keeping up with other friends in education or networking with other educators.

Using bookmarks and tagging are great tools to help you get to items you have decided are important to refer to. You can lump them into categories that make sense to you when you need information about that subject. delicious does seem to be fairly easy to navigate. Teachers could use this for their own application as well as the professional use. I'm not sure in golf, I'm going to need to use this type of technology.

Thing 16
I liked the igoogle home page. I could put what ever I wanted to see and get daily information on. I liked putting on golf and having the weather on this site along with my favorite music and jokes of the day. Plus you can put your own calendar on as well to ensure you don't forget things for that day and upcoming events in the near future. Cool things to have.
Thing 15
Wiki's are good for information and information gathering. You just have to watch out for the person that has put information on a site and it's their thinking not the correct information. If you had a wiki that was just for your group and you knew who was putting information on the site, then this could be interesting information.

Thing 14
I looked at Gliffy Flowchart and Bubbl.us for the mind map. I liked the way you could actually build a classroom with Gliffy, or just use it for different educational flowcharts. Easy to use and you can pull realy world looking items to put into your class, building, or house. The mind map that I started putting together actually looked kind of like a flowchart, but enhanced. You can put a chart or map together with your lesson or a subject that you want to show how you can make connections to other related fields. Pretty good stuff.
