Thing 10
This was definately different. Too many sites to choose from. I did finally select five I thought would be of use to me at this time. Things like ESPN.com; National Geo news: Animals and nature; Coolcat teacher; Diigo. If you like to get updated daily on changes around the world or in some subject your interested in this is the way to go. Personally it could keep you up to date daily. You could also do this in the school system. Looking for updates on subjects, classroom information, and standards. Students could us this system as well to get updated on interesting things for kids. If the students was given a task to complete he/she might have this new information on a blog site they selected. Other than that, it's still very difficult for me to navigate in these sites.

Thing 9
This site was a little difficult. The picture always would put a (pr) on the end no matter what I tried to to write. Still, if the kinks could be cleaned up the students would love it to make posters and different computer projects. My kids would have fun making things with this site.

This would be a cool mashup for many military people, they could post pictures for every place they have travelled. Then they could send to friends and family. Very cool site. In the classroom the multicultural demographic could be used to show where students are from or where they have travelled. In geography, this site could assist many with great pictures.
Thing 7
Flickr has some neat pictures, but it was very hard for me to get images. Even though there were pictures all over the place about golf, I found a lot of pictures in and around my golf pictures that had nothing to do with golf. I'm trying to figure out why that is. I could see a lot of folks being able to access this site for many different pictorial ideas.

Thing Six
Good afternoon, I finally found site that was right up my alley. (oobgolf) This is a neat site. I didn't realize you could do things like this. I don't know if there are any other golfers in the class, but I thought this was pretty good. This site is a free site to sign up for and this site will do quite a bit for the avid golfer. It keeps track of your scores and you can input them in by either computer or cell phone. So you can be out at the links and input your stats while your still out there. This system will keep up with your stats and you can check on how your doing at any time. If you have friends that you play with all the time, you can add them or have them join in. Then you can create a group of people and keep all their stats together, almost like a league or something. You can access information about golf equipment and this site will connect you to sites that sell equipment and give you the best deals around the country. Most golfers like to keep up with their handicap and this site does that for you. It has a formula already in for the courses you play. The information is there and then gives you the outcome. This site can keep up with your stats like, fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts per round or hole, and sand saves. You can see how others are doing and you can check out the ratings of other courses that you might want to play. The last interesting thing is that you can blog with other golfers about events of the week or just about anything you want to talk about. I think this is the neatest site I've seen for this type of stuff. You can get there by going to www.oobgolf.com.
